About Willow Gate Cattery
Our Philosophy
Willow Gate Cattery is registered with TICA and REFR. Established in 1988, we are located in Battle Creek, Michigan. We are passionate about breeding healthy, happy , and well-socialized kittens. They live in our home with other animals and humans. Our TICA and REFR registered traditional Applehead Siamese, Snowshoe, and American Polydactyl verified Variant 1 Hemingway Cats come from carefully selected lineage to ensure the best qualities. Parents are DNA tested for 50 genetic predispositions, display hypoallergenic traits, and have family friendly temperaments.
All kittens spend their days with our family and receive the best of care including healthy vet visits, triple testing for FIV, FELV, and HV, and receive their vet-verified vaccines. We are open and honest sharing all records and always try to match personalities of the kittens with you and your family.
Lets be real, finding a kitten can be difficult when scammers are rappent out there and many people get taken (both buyers and sellers). If the cost of one of our well bred, healthy kittens is out of your price range, we finacially support and are more than willing to connect you with honest, established, and verified rescues to find your new friend.

Lila, Barrington Fashions Icon is our TICA-registered seal point queen. She is one of the best mommas we've ever owned both in production and care. We breed her once a year to Oskar for a litter of exquisite kittens. She carried the dilute color gene and usually produces a variety of colors including blue point, chocolate point, lilac point, and seal point. We feel very fortunate that DragonGlass allowed us to purchase this well-bred female to add to our cattery.
She has DNA testing to show she is 50/50 panel clean with no known health predispositions.

Bailey, Willow Gate's Baily is our REFR-registered Lynx point snowshoe queen. She is also registered as an American Polydactyl variant 1 with extra toes on the front. She passes these on to about 50% of her babies.
Bailey has that super sweet personality for which snowshoes are famous. She gets along with everybody and everything. Nothing seems to phase her. She tends to pass these traits on to her kittens.
She has DNA testing to show she is 50/50 panel clean with no known health predispositions.

In Memory of Oskar - King
Oskar, TheCrookedCrown Majestic Mogul, was our first TICA-registered Siamese chocolate point male. He is the father or grandfather to our kittens. As a decent of the Permes lines, Oskar carries dilute color gene and a cinnamon gene which allowed him to produce a variety of colors. We feel very fortunate that DragonGlass allowed us to purchase this well-bred boy to add to our cattery.
Most of his kittens carry the same color variants.
