At Willow Gate Cattery, we believe every kitten deserves the perfect home. Because our litters are carefully planned and intentionally limited, we take great care in matching each kitten with the family that is right for them. Our goal is to build lifelong relationships with our kitten families and ensure every Willow Gate kitten is loved and cherished for a lifetime.

Because we produce a limited number of carefully planned litters each year, many of our kittens are reserved before they are born.

Families who have been approved through our adoption process may join our Priority Waiting List by submitting a $100 non-refundable Waiting List Deposit. This deposit secures your place in the order that available kittens are offered and is applied toward the purchase price of your kitten.

Our waiting list deposit helps ensure that families joining the list are genuinely committed to welcoming a Willow Gate kitten into their home while allowing us to plan responsibly for upcoming litters.

When your turn arrives, you will have the opportunity to select the kitten that best fits your family.

Once you choose a specific kitten, a $400 non-refundable Kitten Reservation Deposit is required. This deposit secures your kitten, removes it from availability, and is also applied toward the purchase price.

If the right kitten is not available from a particular litter, you are welcome to remain on the Priority Waiting List for a future breeding.

Every Willow Gate kitten is lovingly raised in our home as a member of our family and receives exceptional care from the day they are born.

Your kitten will:

• Be raised with daily handling and socialization alongside our dogs, adult cats, and the normal sights and sounds of everyday household life. 
• Come from carefully selected parents who have been comprehensively DNA tested and are clear of more than 50 currently testable genetic conditions.* 
• Receive age-appropriate veterinary examinations and vaccinations. 
• Be tested for FeLV, FIV, and heartworm before going home. 
• Follow a preventative health program, including routine deworming, parasite prevention, probiotics, and vitamins. 
• Be fully litter trained and familiar with multiple litter types and litter box styles. 
• Be eating a premium-quality kitten diet and go home with a starter supply of food to help ease the transition. 
• Enjoy daily enrichment through toys, climbing structures, and interactive play that encourages confidence and curiosity. 
• Be eligible for one month of complimentary pet health insurance (registration required within 24 hours of pickup). 

Each family also receives:

• Veterinary records 
• Vaccination record 
• Feeding and transition information 
• Ongoing support from Willow Gate throughout your cat's lifetime 

*Our current breeding cats are comprehensively DNA tested. We continually update our health testing as new genetic screening becomes available.

Our commitment to your kitten does not end when you take them home. We are always available to answer questions, celebrate milestones, and provide guidance throughout your cat's life.

Should circumstances ever change, we ask that you contact us before rehoming your Willow Gate cat. Whenever possible, we are happy to help our families find an appropriate new home.
