Our Stud & Queens

Queen Lila

Queen Abilene

Queen Bailey

Lila is an exquisite seal-point Siamese Queen registered with The International Cat Association (TICA). Lila's genetic panels show that she is negative for the 50 known genetic predispositions that cats can carry. She has that silky hypoallergenic type coat that has to be felt to understand. Lila is the best of moms, and we typically have one litter a year with her. We keep a waiting list for her kittens. Lila still loves to play and will be seeing chasing ribbons or climbing towers with her kittens. She also enjoys hiding in tunnels and jumping out at them. She has a variety of colors including seal point, chocolate point, blue point, and lilac point. Of all our Siamese she is the most regal. She has a quiet and calming air about her. She does talk but very politely daintily following us around while she chats.

During the her days without kittens, she loves hanging with her best friend our boisterous Snowshoe Queen, WG Bailey.

Lynx point snowshoe

WG Bailey is a gorgeous lynx-point Snowshoe. Snowshoes were derived oringally from Siamese and Bailey is no exception. Her DNA shows her to be about 50/50 Snowshoe and Siamese. Bailey's genetic panels show that she is negative for the 50 known genetic predispositions that cats can carry. This is rare in a Snowshoe. Personality wise, Bailey is very vocal and talks to anyone that will listen. Bailey is quite unique being dual registered as a Snowshoe and an American Polydactyl Hemingway Variant 1. She has adorable thumbs. Bred to a non-polydactyl she typically has a split litter with half having extra toes. Because the gene pool for Snowshoes has shrunk significantly and genetic diseases have increased, we breed Bailey to Siamese to help diversify the gene pool. Because of that she may have solid kittens or kittens with the traditional Snowshoe points. When she is kittenless, she loves hanging out with her BFF Lila.

Queen Gretchen

Abilene is our youngest Queen. She is the darkest of seal-point turning so dark in the wintertime that she is difficult to see at night. Her gorgeous blue eyes are mesmerizing. Abilene is more petite than our other kitties as her breeders were trying to breed "apartment size" cats. She weighs in just under five pounds. Don't let that make you underestimate her. Abilene has a zest for life like no other. She is a big talker, thinks cats should love water and is often found sleeping in the sink. She also loves to play with everyone's kittens not just her won, loves to chase the border collies, and has to be watched like a hawk when the door opens. If Abilene were allowed out, she would go on the greatest adventure! Think Lord of the Rings style. When kids come over, she is the favorite. She had her first litter in 2025 and we couldn't be more pleased!

Queen Gretchen

Gretchen may seem like an odd duck amongst our Siamese. Back in 2018, we had an opportunity to get our daughter a real Hemingway cat. She was so excited after reading about Hemingway's lucky sailor cats. Even though Gretchen was said to have come from a long line of Hemingway cats, we had Gretchen DNA tested to be sure. Gretchen is indeed a descendant of the Hemingway line. Like our other queens she tested clear of all 50 known genetic predispositions. Her dad had eight toes on each front paw and her mom has seven. We don't breed Gretchen very often but when we do, there is a long waiting list for her kittens. She was registered in the American Polydactyl registry which dissolved and moved the to Rare and Exotic Cat Registry (REFR). All of her kittens carry the polydactyl gene and are eligible for registration whether they have extra toes or not.

Woman holding a chocolate point Siamese

Oscar was our beautiful chocolate point stud and one of our favorite cats of all time! Oscar had a special personality although he was an indoor only cat, he loved to go to walk in his harness and go to ride in the car. Every evening after work, Oscar had a story to tell. With dark azure eyes, Oscar carries rare color genes including one copy of dilute, one copy of chocolate, and one copy of cinnamon. He passed away unexpectedly in 2025. We have kept select future queens to carry on his lines to our future generations.

Ash was the first stud owned by Willow Gate Cattery. He was a beautiful seal point Siamese with the chubbiest cheeks. He lived out his years here and was neutered for the final four. He was the one who helped us fall head over heels in love with traditional Applehead Siamese. Ash had a huge sense of adventure. He loved car rides, walks on a leash, and even loved riding our horse Maggie with us. We have never met another one quite like him.
